Attention: Peoples Online Bill Pay Users: Beginning November 23, 2009, funding of your bill payment transactions will change. Before your payment is processed, we will verify the balance of the funding account, including funds from Readyline accounts and Deficit Funds relationships. Funds from an Overdraft Reserve Arrangement are not included in the balance verification process. If you do not have sufficient funds in the account on the date your payment is scheduled, your payment may be delayed or cancelled. If funds are available during the verification process, your account will be debited on the date that the payment is sent, also know as the Send On date. If you have future dated payments or recurring payments, the funds will be verified and debited on the Send On date. For example, if you initiate a payment on December 1st, but choose to have the payment sent on December 15th, the funds for the payment will be verified and debited as of December 15th.
