Peoples National Bank appointed Clifton Berry as Community Bank President of the St. Louis Region. Clifton is responsible for building the commercial loan and deposit base and the retail deposit base of the bank at its locations in Belleville, Illinois (6400 West Main), downtown St. Louis (826 Olive St.) and Clayton (7600 Forsyth Blvd). Clifton is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduate of Dartmouth College holding a degree in Economics. He has enjoyed a distinguished career in financial services in the St. Louis market. His professional experience includes investment banking sales, commercial real estate lending, loan administration, and branding and management for a fortune 50 financial services company operating in the secondary market. Mr. Berry serves on the board of directors of the Greater St. Louis Community Foundation. He also has been a director of several non profit corporations including the Regional Chamber and Growth Association, The St. Louis Equity Fund, and the Regional Housing and Community Development Alliance.
